Café Team Member

Evoke Coffee Lab | Yorktown Center – Lombard, IL
Part-Time | Opening Team

We’re looking for thoughtful, energetic people to join our opening team at Yorktown Center. You don’t need to know everything about specialty coffee on day one—we care just as much about hospitality, curiosity, reliability, and attention to detail.



What You’ll Do

As a Café Team Member, you’ll help create the full Evoke experience—from making drinks to welcoming guests and keeping the café beautiful and organized.

You will:

  • Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages
  • Deliver warm, genuine, and attentive customer service
  • Learn Evoke's coffee, ingredients, recipes, and preparation standards
  • Operate the POS and accurately handle customer orders
  • Prepare and serve pastries and other ready-to-serve café items
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café
  • Restock products, cups, ingredients, and supplies throughout your shift
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and opening/closing procedures
  • Help us improve as we learn what our customers love


Who We’re Looking For

  • Are dependable and show up ready to contribute
  • Stay calm and positive during busy periods
  • Notice details and keep your workspace clean and organized
  • Are comfortable learning new skills and receiving feedback
  • Enjoy working as part of a small, hands-on team
  • Have an interest in coffee, food, hospitality, or creating memorable experiences

Previous barista or café experience is a plus, but it is not required for the right person.
